Leaving this in hopes you respond to since your profile hasnt been active in over a year.
I followed along a with your 211g155 fix-it post as well as the swrvice manual youve shared to fix/re-time my 156. It felt really nice to essentially restore it via complete teardown. I'm a former auto mechanic/technician/racer, and it gave me the same sense of mechanical satisfaction.
I was wondering if you had any leads or recommendations as to where i could gain the more intricate knowledge/training to repair these machines for an income.

Very little MDF contains formaldehyde noawadays. Exterior grade MDF has less than 1% and unless its been sitting for over a decade, the remaining 3 grades should be formaldehyde free. Dont know if what he got was neoprene or rubber, but the gym matting @dikman mentioned leads me to my suggestion of conveyor belting, or skirting rubber Its a bit on the pricier side but its usually a natural gum rubber and extremely durable, and dulls abpot the same as the delrin/poly cutting boards.

As it seems i couldnt edit that post, i reread and realize it sounds as if i am asking to be taught and avail myself use of your equipment. This is not my intent and apologize for that. I meant that as a statement of if i get stuck/screw up, and ask for help, you would have the available equipment, and experience to show me how to fix it properly or easily.

Is this still on offer @rickybobby? im near metrocenter area, and just gettin into the hobby. Havin a place to learn with someone knowledgable and in a an environment where experience, tools, and techniques a noob might not have is always a luxury.
