Doughty Leather Goods

A lifelong Missourian now turning fifty-four at the end of this coming August.  I'm a twenty-year resident in Farmington, MO and prior to that around the Truman Dam and Sedalia.  I've been in construction most of my life but was hit by a debilitating disease called Mitochondrial Disease. This affects my body's ability to create energy at the DNA level.  I had what is commonly called adult onset which started out as a flu-like symptoms but then turned into all out weakness and lack of energy.  I then had to adjust my schedule and filed for disability which I got right away as the disease is an automatic approval.  Which brings me to where I'm now working in leather.  I took it up as a hobby several years ago and am now getting more focused having purchased a leather sewing machine and a bell skiver.  The pics are some of the projects I've done already it's still early days for me in the craft, so I don't a lot to show for it I was working a little at a time.
