Thanks Odin! I use Liquitex Satin Varnish for the painting finish and then resolene for the black leather around it.

Thanks Tate, I don't know about flawless but I appreciate the sentiment!

very slick, I like it!

This is so awesome looking! I checked the other pictures, it looks to be one solid piece of leather (except the horns)? The color looks very cool too, gives it an ancient dragon look. How much do these cost?

Awesome idea Cyrex, looks great!

Gotta love that inspiration...I have a pic of a skull with a jester's hat that is a sticker in a gum ball machine that I plan to do one day...sometimes those things have the best pictures!

I used a tandy 3.25" coaster for the template and then cut them very carefully with a pair of heavy shears.

Thanks for showing this Anet, it just goes to show your tooling and shading techniques are as top notch as your painting. Well done on all notes.

Nice job Randy, looks good!

Looks sweet Banjoman, nice job on the lacing and I like the text on the backend. I'm getting ready to do a Rune seat with a similar feature, nice to see how it works before I start.

Thanks guys!

These are really cool! I don't think I have seen good pics of handmade shields before.

Thanks Natalie. Unfortunately the client asked for it to be solid black so it blends in with the almost all black bike but the overall piece should still be pretty cool when done.

Thanks Chris!
Cyber - The first 1/8" of black around her body was done with a brush first to ensure tight lines but the rest was all airbrush.
