  5. Have retired. My Tippmann Clicker 700 die cutter is for sale. It is about 12 years old and cuts leather just as it did when new. Some rectangular cutting dies and one circular included. It does require an air compressor capable of at least 80 to 110 psi and I recommend at least a 60 gallon tank. $1500 Cash only. Must pick up in South Austin. No shipping. You may need a helper to load it up as I cannot help with that. If you want to purchase contact me through the Contact Me page on my website. unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com
  6. Hello, I have officially retired from the holster making business after 13 years of fun and profit. I just recently sold my back up Cobra 4 along with my Cobra 14 Splitter and Cobra NP-4 Skiver. I am now selling my Cobra 4 that I started the business with. Purchased new in March of 2011. It has been very well maintained and is in excellent condition. It has not had one hiccup since day one. Great machine. Comes with standard tools and manual. Also comes with extra spools of thread and bottle of oil. And a buncha needles. Thread is Nylon American & Efrid Anefil 207 & 277 bonded. I added an extension onto the right side table to give me a little more room for stuff. Also added a foot rest for left foot that has been handy when sitting and sewing. Price for the machine is $2200. Firm and not negotiable. CASH only. The machine is located in South Austin and must be picked up there. No shipping. Be advised that you will need a helper to load it up as I am not able help with that. I also have for sale a Tippmann Clicker 700 Die Cut Press with stand with casters that I bought around the same time as the Cobra 4. I put a new bladder in it about 4 years ago. It works perfectly. It does require an air supply of at least 80 to 110 psi. and I would suggest at least 60 gallon tank. Price for it is $1500. Price not negotiable. CASH only. The machine is located in South Austin and must be picked up there. No shipping. Be advised that you will need a helper to load it up as I am not able help with that. Please contact me if want to make a purchase via my Contact Me page on my website. unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com

  13. Hello I am Uncle George of unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com. I am retiring in the near future due to health issues and am selling off some equipment I no longer use. I have the Cobra Bell Skiver NP4 that I purchased in January 2020. Used on one bag making project and has sat idle since. Comes with the standard accessories and manual. Found that I was too busy making holsters to make other stuff. Like new condition. Very sharp and works great. $1400 firm and not-negotiable and must be picked up here in South Austin. Will not ship. You need to be strong or bring a helper as this machine and stand are heavy. I will not be able to help move it or load it up. Cash only, no venmo or cashiers checks and no trades of any kind.

  15. Hello I am Uncle George of unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com. I am retiring in the near future due to health issues and am selling off some equipment I no longer use. I have a Cobra Class 4 standard that I bought in May of 2013 as a back up machine for my main Cobra Class 4 machine which has never had a hiccup for 12 years. I used the back up Cobra Class 4 for a few small projects over the years but mostly it sat covered and in storage so has very little use and is in like new condition and sews beautifully. Has 3 bobbins, buncha needles, some tools and has a roller guide installed on it and the standard LED lamp. It also has a custom table I made for it for a project I was doing (see photo). It also has the standard flat accessory table that hasn't ever been used or mounted on the machine. Comes with manual and bottle of oil. Price is $2300. Firm and is not negotiable. I will not ship. You'll have to come get it. It is located in South Austin. You'll need a helper as it is a very heavy and cumbersome machine. I am not able to physically help move or load it up. Cash only, no venmo or cashiers checks. I also have a Cobra Class 14 Splitter that I purchased in November of 2018. Used it for some small projects and has been collecting dust in my shop ever since. Very sharp blade. $2400 Firm and non- negotiable and must also be picked up here in Austin. Will not ship. No package deals. Cash only, no venmo or cashiers checks. And I have the Cobra Bell Skiver NP4 that I purchased in January 2020. Used on one project and has sat idle since. Comes with the standard accessories and manual. Too busy making holsters to make other stuff. Like new condition. $1400 also Firm and non-negotiable and must be picked up here in Austin. Will not ship. No package deals. 17. I have a Tippmann Boss for sale for $950 FIRM, includes shipping. Contact me through my website for details and photos. http://www.unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com/Pages/contactus.aspx
  18. That's some nice stitchin' Dwight with the Boss. I started out with a boss then added a second one. It did take me a little bit to get the hang of the machine to get good stitches like yours after that I was able to knock out holsters without much fuss with the machine. My wife is a seamstress and was able to coach me which helped a lot on learning to use it. I eventually went to the Cobra 4 and sold one of the Bosses. I recently got a second Cobra 4 and will be selling the second Boss in the near future to get my wife a Cobra 18 for her projects. Anyone interested in my second Boss can contact me through my website. http://www.unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com/Pages/contactus.aspx
  19. For the last 4 years or so I have been using American & Efrid bonded nylon thread from The Thread Exchange. I just recently went on their site to restock on thread and saw that the offerings of American & Efrid thread had dwindled to almost none. The main thread they offer now is manufactured by Service Thread. I think they're a thread company in North Carolina somewhere but never heard of them. Has anyone used this brand of thread or know anything about them? thanks
  20. Can anyone tell me the overall size (footprint) of the Cobra Class 18 unit, table and all. I have limited room for one but am hoping to find a way for it. Thanks
  21. Sent email request this mornin'. Thanks to Leather Machine Co. for quickly checking out the problem and responding with a fix.!
  22. Year and a half old Cobra 4. TN 421. On my machine I had about 1/8 inch actuator arm travel from low to high speed. The actuating arm is a little different shape than in the videos and it is not removable. It has a set screw keeping the arm tight to the pivot shaft but I noticed that there is a pin that is not removable that keeps the arm from being lifted up off the pivot shaft. I didn't try to remove it as there is no need to remove it. There's a small "L" shaped metal plate attached to the arm with two screws. The "L" shaped plate is removable and adjustable with these screws. One end of the "L" shaped plate is the part that moves under the light beam. I taped the post-its to the "L" shaped metal plate. Sorry no time for pics and better detailed explanation. I think anyone who opens theirs up will see how to do it. Outside cover comes off easy with just 3 screws instead of 4. It is not mechanically connected to anything on the inside of the motor case, just 3 wires attached to the actuator that have enough slack in them and don't get in the way. Very easy. Much more control now. I loved this machine before the modification as I had gotten used to the speed control and it has been great!. It's even better now.
  23. Very nice! Tried it, works as described. Used yellow post-its. Took 3 tries to get it like a wanted it. Maybe 30 minutes total messin' with it. I totally encased my post-its with scotch tape to protect it from heat and humidity and such, then adhered to arm. Seems like manufacturers could come up with somethin simple like this as an upgrade. My wife who is a seamstress and has several machines, never liked mine because of the speed control. She says that it is more like it ought to be now. Thanks for info and videos. Uncle George
