    Design Lifter

Hi, Please forgive my ignorance, but what is a "design lifter"? Is it that tool that's used to push a design carved and tooled up into a more specific relief to show a more 3 dimensional carving?
  2. Thank you Paul, for posting this series of lessons. Personally speaking, you couldn't have posted them at a better time as I've just begun wading into this artistic forum with no more knowledge of it other than I know that leather comes from animals . I'm so grateful to you for taking the time and effort to put this tutorial together for us all and look forward to sitting at the feet of the master and absorbing your tips and tricks. Thank you for saving me time, frustration and a lot of wasted leather . Blossom

It's lovely :) And what great timing for me, to have the tutorials from Paul Burnett turn up on the board! Thank you Paul!! Thank you from the bottom of my rawhide mallet :)

  4. Give me an email and I will send you info on casing leather.
