This type machine is special for leather glove and shoes upper. It also can stitch holsters. But I think other saddlery machine is better, like Cowboy model 7441AE (see www.cowboysew.com). This machine supplied with holster needle plate, left toe presser foot and many other special attachments, with this machine you can handle most leather work.
