Hi,well after a visit from the industrial sewing machine mechanic,my machine had a loose screw in the top of the machine.I would be there forever trying to find the cause. So Iam75.00 lighter but it works fine.Well worth the money. When I dont know what Iam doing,I will call the man who does.Navy

I finely found the cause. It was a washer in the monsterwheel that was turned the wrong way.My thanks to the 2 people that tried to help me.navy

Hi,I havent asked a question in quite a while.I have a 206 R consew.I oiled it good, took the belts off, left the top off,and the front cover so I can see what my problem is.There is no thread on the machine.I have a monster wheel on it.Iam turning the wheel in the right direction.and it goes smoothly for awhile and then I hear a thunk and it stops..I can back up for a couple of inches and it goes smooth a gain. Can you help?thanks, old navy

Hi,I havent been around for a while.Iam back to sewing hunting pouches.I oiled my sewing machine and wanted to run it for awhile. My hands got oil on them and I know I tried 10 times to put the bobbin in.Each time it slipped from my hand.or I dropped the part with the thread.I had a strong magnet to pick it up from under the machine.I set back and looked at it and I said there has to be a better way.I had the answer in my hand,I put the strong magnet to the bobbin and set it in there where it should be.We get to soon old and to late smart.navy --my machine is consew 206 R

Hi,I make leather hunting bags .I think you should use Dacron and or Nylon for making holsters. They will hold up better than any natural thread.I have bought a lot of things from these people. They wont cheat you and the price you see has shipping included.Old Navy http://www.brettunsvillage.com/leather/thread.htm

Thanks to you both.I will check everything you suggested.navy

Hi,Iam using 93 on top and 69 on the bottom of my consew 206 r portable machine. Its sewing ok ,but the top thread is so tight that it wont pull out when Iam at the end of a stich. Is there something that will make it slip more? The button is turned all the way out to its lowest number. Thanks, navy
