    I bought a smart phone case kit from Tandy, and it was folded the wrong way too. I guess it's to protect the tooling side.

      Oh, the tooling side was out, but it was folded in half the wrong way. So it ended up with half the pattern was on the front and half the pattern was on the back – when it was folded correctly. Because the sides are longer than the bottom of the front and back, the liner only fits on one way. Just imagine that wallet on the left (in the gallery images) folded in half the other way…..
