  1. Thanks for the tip, Noel I'll give them a call tomorrow when they're open. John
  2. Thanks for the response Johanna. I did a little more searching and found a pippin punch from Osborne tools. It punches the larger hole and the slot at once. I can't find anywhere to buy one yet. I'll keep looking though and post anything I find, in case someone may be interested also.
  3. Does anyone know where I might find a punch to cut the hole in the end of a guitar strap? I've searched the web for "keyslot punch" and "guitar strap button hole punch" among other things but have had no luck. I would appreciate any help. Thanks John

    Introduction

Thanks for the welcome, and Regis I have to thank you in particular for asking alot of the questions I have had. I am becoming a big fan of Gregory B. Moody, among others. Even though I don't usually read through the some of the longer posts (ADD) his are always worth the time, I've only got a few months working leather behind me, My friends are keeping pretty busy with requests. I've done a couple of MC seats, some tool pouches and a guitar strap. and for every project I've had a question, came here and found an answer. Thanks. John
  5. I've only been doing this a short time and hope to be doing it for a while. I had sort of the same experience as freak. This site is great, every time I have had a question I just search here and end up finding an aswer. Since most of my questions have been asked already, I've been able to find answers without posting. Thank you, Johanna for starting this and everyone for all the info. John
  6. Hi, I am new to leather working and have been searching the web for info, I have to say, This is by far the best forum I have found. Having been lurking in the background for a little while, I have noticed how well this site is put together and how the membership is always willing to give advice or tips. I am very grateful for what I have learned from all of you so far and look forward to learning much more, as well as sharing anything I might have to share with you as well. Thanks for the great site. John
