I am located in Bakersfield CA. I would like to sell the whole lot for $1400. just so i dont have to deal with parts here and there and the trays of buckles, rivets, snaps and what not. I know there are around $1500 in the tools and stamps alone not including the Berry King tools, craft tool stmap or the trays of hardware. I think the BK stuff comes out to around $595 alone. I will see if i still have the receipts Total value in the photos is $2095 I am also selling the GA5-1 sewing machine in the form. Here is the BK on the tools. (photo) Yea i use to carry the tools and swivel knifes in the ammo case for easy storage off the bench. the Green box fits the tools perfect. I liked it much better then the wood tool organizer that was just to much room on the bench top. I think that $400 with free shipping is fair for the BK tools if you are in interested in the rest we can work out a price and split shipping here is the quick list i have made of tools and the values. This is not including the trays as there are to many parts to count. but i do know that many of the buckles are $4-5 each 3120-03 - Craftool Heavy Duty Oblong Leather Punch 3/4" (1.9 cm) $ 54.99 3120-08 - Craftool Heavy Duty Oblong Leather Punch 1-1/2" (38 mm) $ 69.99 3080-00 - Craftool Strap Cutter $ 39.99 8100-11 - Wide Double Cap Rivet Setter w/Anvil $ 19.99 8039-03 - Craftool Pro Modeling Tool Med/Large Pointed Spoon $ 19.99 8039-02 - Craftool Pro Modeling Tool Med/Large Round Spoon $ 19.99 3200-00 - Craftool Multi-Size Strap End Leather Punch $ 64.99 8095-00 - Eyelet Setter w/Anvil 1/4" $ 9.99 88118-00 - Craftool Keen Edge Sharpener $ 14.99 3199-02 - Craftool English Point Strap End Leather Punch 1-3/4" (4.4 cm) $ 59.99 3198-03 - Craftool English Point Strap End Leather Punch 1" (2.5 cm) $ 52.99 8000-00 - Craftool Swivel Knife Non-Adjustable $ 17.99 3595-00 - Industrial Knife Handle w/Two Blades $ 39.99 8121-00 - Multi-Size Wood Slicker $ 7.99 3004-00 - Maxi Leather Punch Set $ 19.99 8026-00 - Craftool Ceramic 1/4" (0.6 cm) Angle Swivel Knife Blade $ 39.99 8079-05 - Craftool Overstitch Wheel Sz 5 $ 19.99 8079-06 - Craftool Overstitch Wheel Sz 6 $ 19.99 8079-07 - Craftool Overstitch Wheel Sz 7 $ 19.99 8069-00 - Craftool E-Z Adjust Stitching Groover $ 24.99 8074-00 - Craftool Adjustable Groover $ 19.99 3318-01 - Flat Side Awl Haft $ 19.99 8077-03 - Craftool Keen Edge Beveler $ 19.99 8077-04 - Craftool Keen Edge Beveler $ 19.99 3607-00 - Wing Divider $ 24.99 8082-00 - Craftool Adjustable V-Gouge $ 29.99 31811-00 - Craftool Adjustable "V" Gouge $ 29.99 8072-00 - Craftool Adjustable Creaser $ 17.99 8139-00 - Craftool 3/4" (19 mm) Script Alphabet Set $ 59.99 8145-00 - Craftool 3/4" (19 mm) Leather Art Alphabet Set $ 59.99 4904-00 - Easy-To-Do Stamp Set Numbers 0.6 cm (1/4") $ 12.99 4903-01 - Easy-To-Do Stamp Set Alphabet 0.6 cm (1/4") $ 19.99 Tangle boss $ 120.00 Craft tool ceramic blades $ 39.99 Al Stohlman Japanese skiving knife $ 59.99 kyoshin elle brass pro border tool x2 $ 39.99 $ 39.99 dremal coco bolo edge master $ 30.00 blue comander 1911 blank $ 41.95 blue compact 1911 blank $ 41.95 quick lace boot hook dies $ 135.00 Totoal $1,523.54 BK tools maul $ 65.00 blade $ 25.00 swivel $ 50.00 swivel $ 50.00 bar grounder 3 $ 30.00 bar grounder 8 $ 30.00 beveler small $ 25.00 beveler larg $ 25.00 beveler smooth small $ 25.00 beveler smooth large $ 25.00 basket stamp rope large $ 50.00 basket stamp rope small $ 50.00 Flower center $ 30.00 Thumbprint smooth small $ 25.00 Thumbprint smooth large $ 25.00 Veiners lined & scalloped $ 30.00 border crescent $ 35.00 Total BK tools$ 595.00

I have not done any leather work in a long time because of time and money restraints. SO I am selling my GA5-1 in working order. I have a table and servo motor that will come with the machine. I just pulled it out of storage so i need to clean it up but it was and is a great machine. Message me if you would like to see recent photos of it as I cleaned it up from the photo below....dang saddle tan got splashed on it but it’s all good now. I have more accessories like a leather rolling foot and a few needles but I used an off table bobbin winder. Asking 550.00 as i got it new for much more. I live in Bakersfield CA so if you want to arange shipping i will accommodate but other than that local pickup only. Cash is best but will take other forms of payment. Let me know or i would also trade for a good industrial machine like a good Juki or like. Keep an eye out as i would also like to sell all my stamping tools, Most are Berry King Tools.

Thanks Kevin for the info and insightAnd I really mean it Thank You for your help . This may not sit well with to many people on here but it is my thoughts and lucky for everyone they don't have to agree but please people do think of what I am saying for a few seconds. By people asking you how you do something is a complement and a show of respect. Why is it respectful well would you rather have someone try and copy you/reverse engineer your style or item without your knowledge or would you like to know? Don't let yourself be limited in what you do because you want to keep secrets because if everyone keeps secrets we are all doomed. You people worship Al Stohlman, did he keep Secrets. Without his books more than half of us would be lost! Here is a little bit of business talk real quick for those worried about profits. If someone makes a bracelet just like mine and sales 1000 of them I will be more likely to sell more bracelets to because of the other person's successes. Because with 1000 people wearing bracelets like mine is going to start more people looking for bracelets like them and many people will find mine and buy mine as they look for the other persons. In the end I am more successful. ITS ART POPLE not industry. we are here to help each other like we are artists NOT try to undercut like we are corporations. For anyone out there If I do anything (which I doubt) that you would like to know how I did it let me know because I am an open book. I would be glad to tell you how I did it but trust me knowing is only half way there the rest is a lot of practice and mistakes.

Thank you To all that ANSWERED questions and helped me understand better (Hilly, Flyingcuda) I will be giving it a try and seeing how it comes out. I wish more people would be as helpful as you. Flyingcuda I feel the same as you do. I really wish people would stop treating this whole thing as some big secret! Yes I understand this is an Art and every one will have different answers to the same question. But if I never get any answerers or examples I will never find my way of doing it. And to AL isn’t some one trying to copy your art the biggest complement? And if you are worried about competition in a sales aspect (witch its not for me) You need to read some sales/ retail marketing books and understand how competition causes growth. Ok sorry got off track there. I have a cuff I did posted up here http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=25893 The cuff is getting a lining on because it scratches the wrist. So there will be pics up soon of the modified version soon. Another Question 1-What glue is preferred for the lining? Do I just use my contact cement? 2-I have pig and lamb leather. Should I put a wax on them so they don’t bleed when wet with sweat?

Hi all I have been working on making a few different projects but have run into a little bit of a snag I don’t know how to do lining? I have read a lot of other people’s questions on here about lining but I have not found an answer yet. Here is a piece of real art from As you can see Kevin King has done an outstanding job with the lining roll over on this cuff. But I see no stitching. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=24045 pics of Kevins Fleur de cuff So my first question is after gluing lining to work peace do you run a line of stitches along all edges? Q.2 – How close to the edge does the stitching need to be? Q.3- do you treat (oil) lining or anything to make softer or more pliable? Q. 4- How did Kevin K. do this great roll over without any stitching showing?? This question was asked but no reply yet

HI Wild Rose I am Brand New here so take this for what you want. But I would Pay $100 or a little over. The whistle box I would pay up to $200 for sure. I think the best part of the whole thing is your leather work, the box/wood needs a little more something? The wood looks cheap it needs more sanding, rouder the edges and better stain. for the wood worker it would be pennys more but for your box sales its 100s . With the inprovements to the wood box I would pay 150- 200 each and if it had a custome name even more. But what do I know I am just a consumer as of now.

Hi everyone I am new here, as you know. Checking in from southern California. I want to give some leather working a try. The other day I got my self a leather sewing machine (Phaff 545) for near free. It was broke when I got it. Well I remedied that and had the intention of using it to sew some heavy weight backpacks but I figured I would give it more to do. I am into any thing out doors and I am a full time student. I have always loved the look feel and smell of leather so this is going to be fun! Was thinking of starting off with some belts and move into knife sheaths and mics. Pouches. I have eyed a lot of you guys work and am inspired to get my creativity out. I have no clue where to start but I think I have come to the right place. The nest post will be what basic tools I will need, so look for me there. Thanks for having me.
