In retirement, and with all the tools from an earlier employment on hand, I have taken up leatherwork again.

In the early 50's I was working with a handicraft business, Bedford Fine Leathers in Vancouver, BC, as project designer and teacher. I had the opportunity to meet and know the original owner of Craftool, Dick McGann, who gave me a number of saddle stamps on his frequent visits. I have improved on these with some stamps from Barry King and a couple of Henley swivel knife blades.

In later years I also visited Anne and Al Stohlman who were living at 16 Mile near Kamloops, BC, where I now live. Al was most gracious and liberal with his knowledge and also gave me some tools surplus to his needs.
