  1. Thanks guys I will take some pictures later today and a video. It is a brushless servo so I guess I can stop looking for the clutch:)
  2. It looks like arm is returning all the way and its not the chain have tried remove that. Clutch I have no idea I guess I get covers off tomorrow and see if I can figure out whats the clutch. I will also try the screw adjuster on the arm it does have one.
  3. Suddenly my Cobra 4 dont stop when I let of the foot pedal. Just keep going for anywhere a few stitches to 1 inch. I checked the obvious chain etc. all look normal. Any other ideas before I start digging and take things apart. Thanks Anna.
  4. Just want to share my great experience with Cobra Steve. If you are like me and just gotten in to leather work thinking about getting your first machine, I highly recommend to go with Steve. Im so happy I spent some more money and went for a Cobra class 4 instead of a used machine. As I would be stuck right now without help from somebody that knows their stuff. Thanks Steve.
  5. Thanks Bob, Weaver Leather have them .
  6. I been trying to find english stirrup buckles in either 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 but have no luck. I did finally find the 1 1/8 at zack white but they are out of stock:(( Any ideas? Did find them in OZ but hoping to find a supplier in the US.
  7. Hi Mark , do you know a good place to find the conchos with 2-4 screws? Having a hard time to find them, thanks Anna.
  8. I would also love to know how . As all the conchos seem to have screw attachment??Looking forward to the pics.

  10. I just got my today. A very happy day:)) already set up and I did some trail runs great machine, easy set up(if you get somebody to help you lift it...). Love it.
  11. Thanks Art, I been talking to Cobra Steve and he suggested maybe to go with a use cylinder arm (typ class4) as i might try to ask to much of the machine. Im still going back and forward new or used......
  12. Looking to buy a leather sewing machine, need help. I been looking at juki 1541, cobra 18 ,sailrite 111 and used juki 563. i would like to be able to do leather from 3oz. to 13oz. harness leather with 207 or 277 thread. It would be anything from bags, upholstrey to some tack (breast plates and head stalls). Any idea what machine would be the better option? maybe not even one of the ones I been looking at???I like to have reverse and a flat bed. Hopefully somebody can clear my head a little.
