  1. Good point; I was attracted by the curve on this blade, however. I used it tonight for the first time, and was very pleased with the results. The utility knives look like they'd do a great job. I guess it just goes to show you there is no one perfect way of doing anything I also plan to carry the wyoming knife in the woods during hunting season and hope to use it for its intended purpose, too.   2. I recently bought an "Original Wyoming Knife" ( http://wyomingknife.com/knives.htm , scroll down ) to try in lieu of a head knife, which I don't have. Wow. I've been cutting my leather with shears / scissors and/or x-acto knives. With a tremendous amount of frustration, of course. This knife snips right through. Nice thing? It is <$30. I'm not saying this replaces a head knife -how could I, I don't have one? But it might be a good addition to your arsenal of cutting tools. Nate
