    Giving It Up

WOW! You sir (ma'am?) just made my day! I'm new to leather working (just got a Tandy kit last week) and I've been looking for a good place to purchase stuff that will fuel my hobby on a budget. I don't color between the lines very well so I decided to venture out on my own with regard to tooling designs on the stuff that came with my kit; designs that are more my style (biker / rockabilly). Now all my biker friends are hitting me up for stuff like wallets, belts, coasters, key fobs and the like with my own personal style attached... but being new to this stuff I still don't know what kind of leather to use on what. That's where this site rocks! Not only do they sell kits to make my life easier, they are cheap which makes it appealing to me and my friends. I'm not in this to make money, just have fun and learn something new, so leather on the cheap is awesome. Thanks Shooter250, you rule.
  2. Wow! That looks great! Don't mean to be too naive, but is that a pattern you designed yourself (I figure you've got the experience to figure that complicated measurement stuff out) or did you find a pattern somewhere? I'm mean the bag, not the tooling. I'd love to make a tool bag for my bobber but I'm just not there yet. Again, great work!
