About Me
Just before I turned 40 I began to embrace my Scottish ancestors. Coincidentally, at a highland games I went to I saw a targe the someone had purchased on a trip to Scotland. I fell in love with it and decided that I would make one for myself. I had ever only done minor bits of leather work on my gear years earlier when I did Civil War re-enacting. So I went out and purchased the tools I needed to make the free targe pattern that Tandy leather has on their site. And I made one. I loved everything about making it so I designed a new pattern and made another one. And just kept on making em. I've made a few other thing as well such as cuffs, gauntlets, belts, and sporrans.
