I would definitely be interested in the two backrounders next to the flower stamps in the second picture of tools. Please message me.

I Am Looking For A Nice Looking Backrounder
leather kid replied to leather kid's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
Thanks A lot, It is very nice with reasonable prices -
I am looking for a backrounder tool. I am not really looking for the quality of the tool, but how it looks when it is carved into the Leather. If anyone has any opinions or suggestions on what to get and where - that would be great.

try buying a leather conditioner to keep it from staining the leather like Sno - seal. This will definately protect it better, but I do not know how to get the stain off. link to sno - seal: http://www.amazon.com/Original-Penguin-Sno-Seal-Beeswax/dp/B000P4JGBU/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1305693376&sr=8-13

I have used olive oil to tan my leather, just rub it and let it sit in the sun for about 10 minutes. That will make it a little darker. I only used it on some tan leather to make it a bit more brown. I do not know if it will do the same effect for something that is blue/ black.

Small Wooden Holder For Leather Carving Tools
leather kid replied to leather kid's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
Thank You -
This is not my set of tools or case, but it is on craigslist right now and looks like a great set. It also seems like there might be some Bob Beard tools in there, so it is definately worth it. It could be a good set for a beginner or intermediate crafter. Or someone could buy it then sell it for more. The whole set is in Nebraska. Link: http://omaha.craigsl...2312942621.html

Small Wooden Holder For Leather Carving Tools
leather kid replied to leather kid's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
Yes, I do have a tool roll, and I sort of need a small wooden holder to hold the starting tools, Do you know where to get one of those?
