  1. I was thinking more of a layer of something other than leather as a reinforcement, like a synthetic (perhaps nylon) or something to that effect... That would minimize the added bulk if making it negligible altogether. I do see your point on the 8-9 oz leather tho; that is what I am currently using. Thank you again for posting the pics!
  2. Here is the link to it. It was scanned in at 600dpi. There are dots to mark the belt loops and stitch lines (start and end). An optional reinforcement is also included. I will be sewing my prototype together tonight or tomorrow to see how well it worked out. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lj0mgqw18fzh92v/FAms6tNpJE/Ruger%20P95%20-%20Pancake%20-%20Template
  3. Wow! That is exactly what I needed! I can take that and run with it. Thanks a heap! I have a question tho: would the single layer of leather where the snaps are reduce strength of the loop? If so, could the belt loop area have an extra layer sewn in to reinforce it? or would that make it too bulky and make the snaps not fit?
  4. I will swing by Office Depot tomorrow and have them scan the pieces in to PDF and post it to my dropbox. Then you could give it a try to see if it works for ya. Maybe spare cardboard or some craft foam first...
  5. I do not care what you say about the first holster; I think it looks great. I am really interested in how you worked the snaps (I am assuming that the snaps let you remove the holster w/o removing the belt) because I wanted to do a design similar to that.
  6. How close is it to a P95? I made a pancake holster pattern for my P95 last night, cut and glued the leather and will (hopefully) be stitching tonight or tomorrow.
