Dear Aurelie, you've got it right, the 3/4 was not really wanted, but there are saddles with 3/4 rigging, then, okay, I'll pretend I wanted it so.

To finish I used the technique of "antique" that you see in the video Tandy leather. I really like as a result of this technique.

However I've already planned that the next saddle leather will be overturned (it says so?), I would like to focus on technical aspects. This is my 2 nd seat, compared to 1, I made progress. Although the work is completed, it is stronger regret for the things to enhance that satisfaction for things done well. The next will be better Keep it! Aurelie, I ask you where do you get the leather? I take it where I provide by Weaver's Herman Oack good, but it's a bit expensive

Aurelie Sorry, I had not seen your message. My second seat is almost over. I posted photos here: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=37475 I'd like to read your criticisms and suggestions Thank you Gianni

Hello Chris, prepared to accept some mistakes and wasted a bit of leather. I'm finishing my second seat, and I'm learning from my mistakes. However to make a saddle is a great satisfaction. Good luck Gianni

I have the encyclopedia of Stohlman, and it is very interesting. But I'd like to know the characteristics of the Lesone, very fashionable among the Reiner. I hope to get one to fix, so I can study Thank you Aurelie

Certainly, these are structural differences that I'd like to understand. I wonder if there is something that can help me? Thank you

After the first project, I would like to try a Wade saddle and a Reining saddle. Can anyone tell me where can I find a DVD or instructions to build a reining saddle? Thank you very much gianni

I've found. You could put the web address? Thank you
-
true! I think it's impossible to find now. Too bad!
-
Thanks to all! @ Harrington: I did it primarily for "enter" the world of saddlemaking, now I can say that the next seat will not go to zero. Then, if there is someone interested, I will sell the seat at a good price to recover some of the costs Thank you very much gianni

Complete! There have been deaths and injuries, but then came the saddle. Certainly not perfect, but it is the first and all in all I am very satisfied.

The next will be far better Thank you for your suggestions and comments

I've seen in a DVD the picture tool in metallic material. I've got wood, and tends to ruin. Does anyone know where I can find it in metal? Thank you very much Gianni

Fantastic!!!
-
Phew, that hard work!!!! Very very very difficult!!!
-
Thanks Aurelie, I have tried with pieces of discard to cut the single parts... Next Sunday I will know if I have understood well

I am quarreling with the cover seat! I am not a professional but a simple impassioned, I can devote to work the leather only in the weekend. I must say whether to build a saddle is difficult. It is even more it following a DVD in English without knowing the English. But I am stubborn, I don't release. At the end I will post the photo of my first saddle. Only some patience friends
-
Thanks Aurelie, but you think that the container used to soak the leather may be the cause of the mold? I used a different container for the seat cover
-
Thank you, friends, your words help me! In fact it was a stupid mistake due to hurry to go forward, I'd have to check before to cut. Good your idea oldtimer, I found an embellishment for a wall of my "hideout"!!! Now however we try to take the good from what happens: When I returned in the afternoon on the leather had formed mold This is very ugly! How can I avoid this? happened to you? I had kept approximately 5 minutes leather in water and then a night in a plastic bag You as you do? There are ways to avoid mold? Thank you very much friends, and sorry for my stupid questions and for my bad english Regards Gianni

First fatal error!!!! I'd shoot myself in an inch, bloody idiot!!! It was probably inevitable that happened:deadsubject: It doesn't matter (or rather matter much! ), I have another piece of leather, we start again, but not now. Now just! I go to lunch
