About Me
I live in a small town in North Central Idaho and I'm disabled. In order to keep busy, I now do leatherwork and candlemaking. I started doing leatherwork about 20 years ago and did it off and on through the years when I had the time - you all know how work and bringing up kids can delay your true ambitions. So, when I became disabled from a work accident, I decided to get back into leatherwork. I've been doing it steadily since 2003 and it is all that keeps me going. I don't receive Social Security (not enough credits) nor do I receive Medicare or Medicaid. Needless to say, what I make from the sales of my leatherwork buys food and keeps me supplied in leatherwork supplies. I love the challenge of turning that bare piece of leather into an everlasting work of art! It is my passion....
