OK but only because you asked nicely! Here are a few pictures of my work, some of you that belong to the other lists have probably already seen them. These are from the last two years. Any thing older than that shows that I was just beginning.

Hi all, Clay Banyai has already posted Jims class in Colorado Springs, but I wanted to update it. It will be a figure carving class with the pattern being similar to the current Tandy catalog cover. It will start at 6pm on Friday May 11 and the it will be 9am to 6 pm Saturday May 12 and 9am till noon on Sunday May 13. The cost for this class is $25 dollars and Jim will provide the piece of tooling leather. Jim also said that there is no limit to the number of people he will allow to take the class. I am hoping that we can fill the store to capacity for this class. If you can make it to the class bring your figure carving tools, swivel knife and a mallet or maul. Oh and you might also want to bring a chair!! lol

I just wanted to say that Dale is doing a great job teaching us how to carve this project. It is been interesting learning to do the figure carving and we are getting it imbossed with the leather dust and glue and I have only done that one other time so it is nice to learn it from another perspective. I don't normally do the figure carving but with what I have learned from Dale I might do more!! I am looking forward to getting the "Green Man" finished.
