I cringe when I see tool lots that high. Especially if they are Modern Tandy tools. I would much rather see individual prices so people can get what they need and not deal with a plethora of excess tools. But that is just me. Good luck.
well yes i see your point but the thing is i dont have the time to ship piece by piece and have to do all that updating on what is left and i rather it all go at once.

Seems like a decent deal on the face of it. If you toss some photos and descriptions down in the Marketplace forum, you might get a bight or two before you have to deal with ebay.
thanks most of the tools are hardly used due to my bad planning and not needing them and ill make sure to set up a gallery to show case each tool

and i would show each piece in its on photo before selling thur ebay
i have a bunch of tools and a bunch i don't need and wanted to sell now the total for the tandy tools i bought is 674.15 with all its sales right now and i have some things you can buy from tandy like hand made coco wood burnishers and dremel that would bring the total to about 710 ish i was thinking about selling the whole lot for about 500 free shipping and a couple of pieces of leather like a 8 by 11 sheet and a bunch of decent sized scrapes for free to sweeten the deal. Now my question is this a reasonably pricing.

well another thing is im pretty much voice acting alot that is where my time is really being sucked into .... and selling my tools could land me a bit of cash to were i could have a bit of a better audio

well really my biggest problem is time i use to have the time to be slow and work at was doing but i dont have that much time as i use to between having to work out for my job, taking care of siblings, and just being flat out tired i just find it so hard to get to leather working and then im starting to realize that doing armor leather would be expensive and thats why i started working with leather but never realized it would be so expensive, for a hobby at least.

dealing with discouragement : so how do you, as a leather worker, deal with discouragement in either not being able to get a technique, the response and feed back from others or art websites, or just biting off more then you can chew.
My experience so far is mostly frustration and futile efforts leading to wasted hours and a hint of guilty to were im ready to just "close shop" and sell my tools which would catch me a good chunk of change.

Sorry for the delay. I thought I'd set it to notify me if there's a reply, but I never got one.
I might be interested in a bifold, but only if it's big enough to hold a bunch of cards, cash, and the iphone. There are a bunch of bifolds available commercially, but they're all too small.
Adam
hey adam i put a post a while ago but i guess the mod didnt post it or approve but again pm me or email me and we can discuss the details about the bifold

oh yeah same here for the lateness of reply lol it did the same thing on my end no notification. but yeah i could create a bifold that could hold an iphone though my deals are handled thur etsy or paypal. i do almost any design u want on the outside and inside.
now tell the amount of cards u were thinking about and the iphone is it a 4,3 2, or 1 and do you want it to fit like a case or with a case.

Yep, was short on time with other projects, so I used the Chaylor-Fenneli passport insert from Springfield leather. Bought two and deconstructed one for pattern making. I want to do my own in pig.
I hadn't thought of Shellac, great idea!
yep shellac is great though im starting to think that deft lacquer might be better it leaves it shinny
-
Thanks! Just a note of warning, hitting a finished piece with saddle lac to seal the acrylic is not recommended unless you like a warm patina. I have since found a good acrylic finish sealer which is clear. Live and learn...
yeah found out the same thing but i like using shellac or deft lacquer on the outside grain side of my leather and then tan kote on the inside flesh side
