Thanks for the replies everyone. My test was successful. I did two coats of Feibings Resolene (50/50 with water). Let it dry overnight. Then hit it with the Feibings Antique Paste and it resisted nicely.

Anyone had success using Feibings Resolene as a resist for the antique paste? I have a test piece with resolene drying right now. I will report back with the antiquing results.

Will Resolene work as a resist for Fiebing's Antique Paste? How about Ecoflo SuperShene?
