I'm pretty new at this so the question is pretty basic. I want to.make a two tone holster with white stitching. Normally i stitch then dye but if I stitch first and then dye ,won't the white thread pick up the dye? Also the two tone should be easier before assembally I would think. if i dye first how will it effect the wet molding? Thanks

So here is my first acceptable holster. Learned alot doing it. Hopefully I will continue to improve. Wickenburg was humbling. It is for my NAA Pug.

Thanks I already plan to do so. There's a holster here I did too but it's not ready for prime time. I really want to do holsters and sheaths.

Hi all, I have been lurking around here for awhile. I just completed Three projects. I realized that I need some tools ie: hole punches and burnishing tools. Most of all I needed a stitching pony so using the information I got here... Hopefully my work will improve and I will display some gasp inducing work someday.

i am also very new at this. I was wondering if using a router mounted in a portable table work letting me use both hands on the work?
