This Pleasure Saddle is mainly Saddle Tan in color, with white side seat pieces, and black trim stripes. All the silver "spots" were inlaid down into the leather to help keep them from falling off. I don't trust trying to just glue them on top of the leather. Hand carved design. This takes almost all hand made tools of which I've made myself. These are called "Traditional" sized in the Model Horse World. -

Western Pleasure Saddle finished September 2015. Saddle Tan in color. Feathers hand carved into the leather with hand cut metal Feathers overlaying the others. These Saddles are 3 inches long on the bottom skirt. First time I've tried the "roll" behind the Cantle. -

This is a Classic sized Western Saddle for Breyer or Stone horses. Antique Saddle Tan. Made a smaller tool to try Sheridan Style on this one. Takes a long time to do these as small as they are. The bottom skirt is 2 inches long. Not much room to work with. lol All hand carved. -
1/3 Scale Saddle.... What Do You Think
ShunkaWakan replied to doubleLL's topic in Saddle & Tack Maker Gallery
Andy, here is a pic of the Trees I use. They are really small. Smaller then DoubleLL's. Might not be what you are looking for. -

1/3 Scale Saddle.... What Do You Think
ShunkaWakan replied to doubleLL's topic in Saddle & Tack Maker Gallery
Not sure if you are asking DoubleLL about his Saddle Trees or the ones I use Andy. Saddles I make are 3 inches long on the bottom skirt. -
Thanks! It is not a kit, but kits can be purchased for these at Rio Rondo Enterprises. I buy the individual parts needed from them, and then make the Saddle. They sell everything you need. This is a Classic size and much harder to work on, for a "first time" project. Buying the Traditional size (alittle bigger) is easier to start with.

Harley Saddle Seat again -
From the album: Horse of Another kind
I made this Saddle seat for this 1/12th scale Harley. My cousin sold tickets on it to raise money for Diabetes. It was a fun thing to mess with. -
