@oldschool Thanks for the encouragement. I have read a bit more on casing the leather and am eager to start carving on the ongoing work..hopefully it will all work out.

Thanks a lot for all the comments - it has given me a lot of confidence to go ahead on my next project. @Micheal: You are right, the leather was too wet when I was working on it. I will follow your advise in the ongoing project.

Hi All, Attached is my first ever try at leather craft. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII so I decided to make a pouch for that. Please let me know what you guys think about it. While making it I had trouble tracing the image on to the leather - how wet should the leather be when I trace? Best Unni
