Hi Gafer Thanks for the info, I'll give the bridle leather a go. I've only used veg tanned up to now. I didn't realize the ring and post are called terrets by saddlers..that Abbey site is pretty comprihensive. Thanks again M.

Hi Gafer, The collar looks great, like something from the 18th or 19 century. What sort of leather did you use? Is it OK to ask where you got the hardware from? I have 2 large sight hounds here in NZ and would like to do domething similar. Hoping to avoid casting or machining my own post and ring, keeper etc. Thanks Marc.
