Received my new Cobra late last week! What a beast! I'm having one little problem that you all may be able to help me with.....the machine keeps running (V E R Y slowly) after you release the foot pedal. You have to manually lift the motor engagement lever to make it stop. I have plenty of slack in the chain, and have played with the lever return spring, all to no avail. I'm new to these machines and don't want to go adjusting something that will make things worse. Thanks in advance, Rick

Hello all, new guy here from Northern Calif. I took up leatherworking earlier this spring, and have spent a good deal of time lurking here on LW trying to learn all that I can. To date, I've made a number of knife cases/sheaths, a couple of thumb break holsters, cell phone cases and the like. My real interest is in western tack, specifically buckaroo gear. In that vein, I've made a couple sets of bucking rolls, lots of repair/replacement stuff, and recently finished a pair of two piece 24" eagle beak tapaderos. You all are the best, and I'm grateful for your willingness to share and discuss. I hope to be able to contribute to this body of knowledge somewhere down the road. BTW....I can't seem to get a carriage return to start a new line.....any suggestions? Regards, Rick
