  1. Here is a pic of my new pilot that I recently purchased from a guy who's family was 3 generation saddlers. Sadly he has give it up but when I done the three hour journey to Walsall I was overwhelmed with what I saw and what I heard him say and to my amazement he had 2x 40 ft shipping containers full up with saddlery machinery and hardware. What I was about to hear from him made me feel sick. He had scrapped some pearson #6 bobbin winders and other stuff. It got me thinking how many other people in this world don't realise how lucky they are and don't realise what they got. I gave him a few contact numbers of possible buyers and helped him out Do you realise how lucky you really are Here is a picture of the busm pilot I purchased from him
  2. Does anyone know where I can get a manual for a busmc pilot sewing machine. Either paper or download

To be honest I have used a good mallet with a durlon stamp but I was always wondering in the back of my head. ''Will this crack if I whack it too hard". You can get nylon ones from Tandy that are for hitting with a mallet but as with all tools I would only use them as they should be used. Thanks Ls1
  4. Just like to reply with regards to abbey England I'm a uk based collar and harness maker and a customer of abbey saddlery and just like to say that they have lots of friendly advice to give and the clams I've had for years come from abbey Not sure what shipping cost would be to you but no doubt worth an email to ask. They have a vast range of tools and equipment to offer

  7. Hi there Please forgive me interrupting but im new to this site and I have a #6 and was wondering where I could source a right hand foot pedal as mine was removed when I got it ( its had a motor fitted to it) I would rather use it with treadle so I get more control over what I am sewing. I know LES #6 is in uk but if you do read this les I was wondering what part of uk you are in and also do you make collars aswell as harness
