Dwight. ..indeed test test and test again....candie colors are basically dyes....candie apple red is called that because of the candie apples..there transparent colors in which you build layers while still seeing the base coat...red is the absolute hardest to work with!!!
Thanks

Awesome...I've been in contact with Angelus and they are actually sending me some samples to try...the only thing that raised a red flag is when I asked for the p pages for the products they didn't have them...but I'm excited to see the results...I hate being limited when creating... and they have just about any color you can imagine!!! I'll keep everyone informed with my tests...thanks everyone...hope y'all have a great rest of the day!!!
Thanks...I think you misunderstood...bit I. Explain things funny so sorry...my wife doesn't understand me most of the time...lol...I'm just trying to understand what chemical compound the finished is made of to be used as a reducer...Im good at over thinking... lol...thanks again
Thanks Tina, have you ever used just water...I'm wondering what's the finisher made of if it reduces but yet is a top coat as well..I guess every coat would be locked in which could be a good thing...thanks again
Has anyone sprayed Angelus and if so can u tell me your experiences with doing so? Did you airbrush it or did you use a mini gun? Also did you reduce it and with what? And what did you finish it with? Thanks in advance!!!

Its on the bottom side of the big black collar..but its only a small area that the buckle attaches to so it will be folded to the inside...I've smothered it with Aussie...and letting it do its thing before attaching the hardware...!! It'll be good!!
I just started polishing the black collar and a bit of black came off onto the piece of blue jeans I cut up this morn...on the side that cured over night...I went ahead and added my Aussie and I'm letting it soak in...think I'll be alright?
My scraps aren't that big...so was it u that uses and old T-shirt? Or how do you do it.... I decided to put another coat on to even it out!! Lol...it was eating at me!!
I like the look actually..its darker on the edges cause I did the edges first...its a cool look...I'm gonna try airbrush soon...to build layers...but like I was saying I don't know how to practice..cause its easy on scraps...
What of after application of your dye...if its too dark can anything be done...I need to work on application techniques somehow...suggestions??? Its a dif ball game from scraps to strap lemgths
Very cool...you can't even tell its two pieces...that's my goal...I'm gonna have to learn to stitch asap...know any good resources tri learn on a budget..lol
