Very nice. What oz leather are you working with? I want to try my hand at it with tooled leather. I'm unsure about folding the flaps over the casing. What glue did you use? -

This was based off the Tandy kit. This is my first piece to not use a kit. Ued thicker leather, better lace and small cross concho. The inside flaps that hold the bible in are scrap upholstery leather and I lined the inside with black pigskin. Mothers Day gift. Learned a lot more for next project. -

Kit leather. I used larger lace and replaced velcro "clasp" with brass snap. Do not like kits but like the pattern -
