  1. Hi everyone! I've started by doing a knife's sheath and became addicted on leather stuff ;-) So far I made a knife and an axe sheath, a couple of wallets and pouches, a Moleskine notebook cover and my last projects are a guittar strap and a dog's collar... most of it is here https://m.facebook.c...=5&ref=bookmark
  2. Thanks for your help. I guess the best option is to have the right tools instead of improvising my own tools! And maybe a couple of soft taps instead of a strong wack! ;-)
  3. Dwight maybe you could help me with the manual rivet setting... I don't have a proper (commercial) rivet setter but I made one myself, just a steel screw with the tip concave shaped to acommodate the cap. The problem is that the cap after the wack becomes deformed as you can see in the picture. Could it be due to the handmade setter ou maybe a too strong wack? Does a wood or nylon mallet make the difference rather than a metal one? Thanks in advance.
