Hey all.
My name is Kevin Dawson, proprietor of Dawson Gunleather. Been making holsters for about 8 years, in business off and on (I am about to have some real faith in myself and launch a new improved line of my old patterns) as I have been teaching college and have a day job as a machinery mechanic.
Everything I make is hand sewn, and carefully edged and finished except prototype designs where i will cheat to see if it works. I own a giant upholstery machine i use for fine work but most of my business is rugged, dependable daily carry holsters. Came here to chat and pick up tips as I'm self taught and the biggest room is for improvement. The picture is a prototype LCP based on a JLS pattern.
