I made a couple of these for a friend. Instead of a ring he wanted a snap. I don't need to do any ground-work before I start braiding because the horse hair naturaly makes a ball going though the leather strap. I would like to see the ground-work and the materials you guys all use on your projects. Good Day!

This is my first attempt to post so I hope it goes through. I'm just a hobbyist leather worker building western tack for family mostly. I would like to someday make money at it. I started Floral Carving a couple months ago to maybe sell. I don't want to put a price tag on shoddy work. This is a small photo-album I made today and thought you all can help me with my carving and critique all that needs improvement. I'm looking for honesty, not a kind word. Thanks all,
