  1. I picked up a Chandler 406RB thinking the parts and manual would be readily available. I discovered that there are many different 406RBs. This machine uses a short shank outer foot (pressure bar) and has an inner foot with ~.25" dia for the vibrating pressure bar. I included some pics of the machine and showing the feet (bottom set in pic for this machine) vs the common high shank readily available (Top set in pic). I can not find feet for this machine, so if anyone has any options, that would be great. Also can anyone identify this machine to something I could reference? Maybe a time frame. There are no typical chandler decals and only the badge with Model 406RB and Serial number 081598. No casting markings to reference. I use a combination of manuals to get an idea, but all of these are only partially useful (Chandler 406RB-1; Seiko STH-8BLD-3, Consew 205RB-1). Thanks in advance for any help! Tom
  2. I have a walking foot badged as a Chandler 406RB, but no other markings. The presser foot is a low shank 3/4" where the height is 1-1/8". Everything I see for sale have a total height of 1-5/8". Also the inner foot has an attachment diameter of 1/4" to 5/16" which is larger then then what I see sold with a diameter of 3/16". I included pics of the machine and the current feet. I also included a picture of the my feet (lower pair in pic) compared to what I bought (top pair). The top pair doesn't fit due to the inner foot attachment diameter being too small and the outer foot overall height (that slips into the shaft) is t high as well as the shank height (Screw height of ~1"). Can anyone identify the original machine this may have been badged from? Can anyone tell me where I could purchase presser feet for this machine. I attached a few pics. Thanks in advance for any help!
