Hi folks, I've been doing leather work off and on for many years but have a question someone might have an answer to. I recently found a fairly inexpensive source of upholstery leather (unused full hides) but some of the colors are pretty bad (putting it politely). I've never worked with this before and wondered if it's possible to stain it and if so, what would be recommended. Thanks for your time, Tony

Looks great! I'm curious how you did the design in the oval ring around the flowers. It looks like it's sewn or is it a stamp?
