I am looking for a few of this concho to match the others on my sons chinks. He doesn't want new ones, he loves these and just wants to replace the bad ones. These were tandy conchos a few years back, but they dont carry them anymore. Does anyone have any of these they would sell?Thanks. It doesn't show in the photo well, but the background of the concho is brown, not black.

Do you put the conchos thru the leather and can? Any special glue? I have made a couple but want to use the conchos and make sure the leather stays down and not have to reglue! Your cans and other work are gorgeous!! Aleta

Gary, Thank you for responding. I am new to here, so I haven't seen or found any posts on this subject. I will have to look around somemore. Thank you for your process of edge finishing. I will have to try that on the next project. I guess I should have put the question on figuring stitches on a seperate post. Maybe someone will answer that one yet! Hello, I am trying to learn to have my work look more professional. One area I have a difficult time with is finishing the edges. Does any one have any tips or know where to find good info on what tools are best and what process to get a nice, smooth, great looking edge? Since I am asking, I would also like to find info on how to figure my stitching on my machine so that I end on even stitches on corners, etc and don't have half stitches or bigger stitches in my corners. Is there a formula or a book or tip on this? I thank you in advance to anyone that can help me. I have tried to do this on my own, but not getting the look I want. Thanks!
