Very nice. What tool do you use off the main stem? I use a Rob Barr swivel knife like tool where I can insert Exacto Knife blades. -

Nice first attempt. However, next time you might consider making only one hole at the bottom of the front of your strap. The adjustment for length should always be at the back of the strap. This will become obvious to you once you try it on a guitar.

I think you're making a footrest or Ottoman. Kind of like some I've seen in Egypt and I would imagine...in Turkey.

Lesson in belt making....

I use a measuring belt too. I have the holes punched every 1/2" but instead of marking them with inches I use letters. Once I get the letter they are on and they take it off I just pull out my tape measure and go from there. I do this because many people don't want to advertise how big their waist is in inches. Women especially really appreciate this. -

Thanks for your input JR. Are you using the small Barry King bargrounders? Whatever, I love the effect. And, is there any paint on that fantastic belt? The lighting in the sky above the mountains is really nice.

Beautiful work...I'm impressed. RE: your saddle's finish: do you do the usual Sheridan style technique? (dye background, neatlac, antique, tan-kote?) All your work is great and I love the belt...looks like a little Sylvia Fox style painting on that one?
