  1. Hey Stan Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I ordered two of the mags to check them out and they are great. Going to subscribe to them now. Again Thanks for your help Tony

Hey Leather Jack Do you have any instructions on how you made your tankard. My son and I have been trying but they all leak. Need as much haelp as you would like to give. Thank You Tony W
  3. Does anyone know of any Leather Crafter magazines similar to the wood working ones. I have been doing leather for about 6 months now (still a newbe) and was hoping to find some magazines that could help me. Thanks for any help Tony W
  4. Does anyone know of a monthly or quarterly leather working magazine. I have been looking around but so far no luck. I was hoping that I would find one like the Wooworkers magazine but as I said no luck. Please let me know if you know of one. Thank You Tony W
  5. Thanks Claykan. I've been using it for a little while now and am still getting use to thread tension but I'm getting it. Tony
  6. Hi Stan Sorry it took so long to respond to you. I really appreciate your comments and I will wathc the videos you recommended. I did get a VHS tape with the sewing machine but that doesn't do me much good - no VHS machine anymore. Again thank you Tony
  7. Just got a Tippmann Boss sewing machine and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with it.
  8. Thank You everyone for making me feel welcome. I am looking forward to talking to everyone and sharing ideas and solutions Tony
  9. Hi everyone My name is Tony and as you can tell from the title I live in San Antonio, I am new to this site and pretty new to leatherwork. I caught the bug from my youngest son who is a veteran leather worker. So far I have made a few Bracers, a helmet. and now working on my first belt. I was thinking about making a leather cup that you can drink out of but not sure how to go about it any help will be appreciated. Tony W
  10. My son gave me one of his a week ago and it took a little getting used to. Now I have a hard time using the regular swivel knife. It just goes where your hand moves to without having to turn the barrel. I love it and now I can carve much better.
