hey Nick , I could make you the patch of the 585th Squadron if you'd like one done ????????????????? The Group did not have a WW2 era emblem, they had one post WW2 , but the Squadron emblem was used in WW2

Hello again Isabel, yeah nothing beats those smiles and phone calls from the veterans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One called me some time ago nearly in tears , he was so moved by having something he lost long ago and the memories it brought back to him , nothing can beat that for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah , the large paintings are a whole other world , I've done some aircraft oil paintings and the larger brushes are great for filling in the sky backgrounds or land areas, but even then I've found you still need the small ones for the detailings on the aircraft themselves . I am happy that my posting helped you and I wish you much success in your works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Johnny

Yes I can do them also, I just don't get much call for them , I've done some divisionals , Amor etc , if you want something done let me know ....................... Will be adding a WW2 era version of the 309th Fighter Squadron to the link asap
