  1. Hello, all the patches shown in the photobucket link are pre-ordered patches , none were stock items as I do not pre make them, all are "custom order" and are made for reenactors for jackets and or displays, most went to veterans and a few museums, but also reenactor people here/there . I only make a patch when someone actually contacts me and asks for a "specific" emblem, I have virtually 90% of the "Official" emblems of WW2 USAAF/USN/USMC flying unit types , and many "Unofficial" as well . So if you have a 'specific" patch want, please let me know. Happy and Healthy New Year to all the members !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Yeah "All American" was a nice one , I also do airborne ones in regular and the one posted was a larger "Presentation" sized patch , thanks for looking ! Johnny
  3. Hey Squatch, thank you for looking at them , I enjoy sharing them , also so people can see what the quality of my work looks like ! I added the Personal Galland emblem to the link now . Hope to be adding some more soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please note all the patches shown on the link are "custom order" ,I make them as I receive orders for them, so if you have a "specific" WW2 USAAF/USN/USMC flying unit patch you want made ,please tell me, my image archive is vast and I have 90% or better of the "Officially" approved emblems designs from that era and many of the Unofficial types . Or if you have an image you want me to work from, that is O.K . too ! Johnny

  18. Yeah , I guess I just have to "bite the Bullet" as they saying goes and give it a try ..................................
  19. Yeah , I was thinking that way , but the problem is the guy who wants me to make the patches that way and wants to see some right away and he "expects" them to be a certain way each time , and there in lies the problem , I don't really have the extra leather/paint to waste trying to get one the way he wants and if they're not he won't want them and then I'll be stuck with useless item/s and time/$ out for the product .................................. I want the work but don't want to waste the materials/time and only a "possibility" of getting the work afterwards ................................ Also as you mention the "cracked paint" may want to flake off and I'm not sure what to overspray it with that will take and hold etc ......................................
  20. I have another product in mind , but what I'm looking for is someone who's actually tried this on leather , either a painted patch or another painted item on leather to see how it works , thank you for this item , but it appears to be too heavy of a application and the "cracks" would be too large for what I'm seeking ..............
  21. Hello, I'm an artist of leather military aviation unit patches , I was recently asked by a potential long term customer if I could make patches with the "effect" of old cracked paint, he told me of a product that makes acrylic paint crack and look old . I am wondering If anyone of this forum has used this and if so could they tell me their results ???????? What I want to try to achieve is a very small tight pattern of this effect and not sure what technique will work best as to brushing it on etc . Would appreciate any comments etc on this , thank you and I await your replies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. 640th Bombardment Squadron now under the "Ziggy's patches" section of the photobucket link ......................the marks are on the photo not the patch................
  23. 640th Bombardment Squadron patch added to the "Ziggy's patches" section of the link, please note marks are not on the patch , it is a poor image , I apologise for this .
  24. Added 3 "aged/dirtied" patches, 349th Night Fighter Squadron,5th Emergency Rescue Squadron and a 15th Fighter Squadron ...................................Military Re-inactors should love seeing these , especially those who do pilots/crew and wear leather flight jackets ..................................
  25. Should have a 640th Bombardment Squadron patch photo added by this weekend ..............................
