Troy this saddle was ordered by an older gentleman from California that wanted a 3/4 single rig. Unfortunately he passed away and never got to put some miles on it. Thanks, Dave

Thank you, this is my 14th saddle. The TCAA is an association that was started by some of the best saddle makers, braiders, silversmiths, and bit and spur makers. Their mission is to keep the tradition and cowboy arts alive. They have a scholarship program that allows the applicant to go work with one of the members. Just finnished this last week. I would like to hear your critiques. I had the opportunity to work with Steve Mecum this winter. I recieved a scholarship through the TCAA. Timbo, I use a 3/8 drill bit. I do drill through all layers of leather except the skirts only because I do not want to drill into the carpet on my stand. I do not rough up my tree. I was thought by John Willemsma that by doing that it will weaken the tree and will show up years from now. Barge glue should work just fine. Dave Beagle

Greg, I have been riding this saddle and haven't noticed any interference with the blevins. That said I agree, and did raise my rigging on my last saddle. I appreciate your critique, and would look forward to receiving additional help in the future. Thanks, Dave
