Bluesman, I use a sharp wing divider on cased leather. As for the holes I use a tandy oblong punch. -
New Belt And A Few Knife Sheaths
rgepting replied to rgepting's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
The belt buckle came from Springfield leather 1 1/2 -
Here is a belt I finished for a friend of mine. Wickett & Craig 7/8 oz chestnut with some 2/3 oz liner. A pancake sheath for a Case traper. Also a pancake sheath for one of my damascus Texas hunter drop points that I just finished. It has Mesquite burl handles and mosaic pins. And my twist damascus blade. Thanks for looking Richard

Im not looking into collecting Vintage osborn tools, but do have a question. I need a good quaility strap cutter . Ive seen new osborn strap cutters for $70 and vintage in good shape for around $100 to $150. Is there a difference? I just want to buy the best strap cutter for the money. Any sugestions. Thanks Richard

My First Avenger Style 1911 Holster
rgepting replied to rgepting's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Big O, Good eye on the tweeks. Thanks -
This is the first time I have built an Avenger style holster. I have a few tweeks to do here and there on the pattern. Overall I like how it came out. Its for the Commander size 1911. I used Wickett & Craig 7/8 oz saddle skirting. Any advice or critiques would be appreciated. I also want to thank Particle for his how to videos on his site. They were a great help on designing this holster. Thanks for looking Richard Epting

Just wanted the LW folks who need blue guns know about Robs great customer service. I have ordered several blue guns from him over the last few months and he always is fast to respond to emails and shipping. He has a new website that he is working on that has some great features. I have no afiliation with www.rmbcustomleather.com ( his old website ) , His new almost completed site is www.rmbcl.com just a satisfied customer. Rich Epting

1911 Pancake Holster
rgepting replied to rgepting's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Colt hammerless The angle of the photo is knida funky, when your wearing it no prob at all drawing. The cover knife on my website does have metal handles. The customer had a matching rifle engraved and blued same as the knife. Woodandsteel my folders start at $700 and up. Thanks for looking at my site. -
Got to do some leather work for myself over the holidays. I have not built a gun holster in years. Purchased a 1911 in August and was waiting on some down time to make a holster for it. Matching gun belt later. Thanks for looking Richard Epting www.eptingknives.com
