  1. sorry i havent kept up with this thread, been busy. thank you dwight.....i have been reading up on the boss and its quirks. i see no reason why i cant get it to work if others can. right now i can only dream of making stiches that look as good as yours. still cant post a photo says file too large, but i will be back with one when i get it {the boss} figured out.
  2. i am of average intelligence and maybe slightly higher....i have had it one day and my stiching is getting worse. approx how long does it take to learn this thing?? i am an experienced hand sewer but have zero machine experience.
  3. hey art, thanks for the imput. gun has the 7.5 bbl so hopefully it wont pop out. thanks again. dux
  4. have a request for a remington 1875 holster, you gun nuts{like me} will recall that this model has the steel "web" under the bbl. i am thinking the pattern from a 58 rem cap & ball revolver should work. does anybody know for sure?? anybody made one of these?? thanks for any advise. dux
  5. here is one i made if it any help. the gun is not mine, i dont own anything with such ugly grips!!
  6. this might give you some ideas. i made this pocket holster in 1997, belive it or not one of the 2 guns shown has ridden in that holster in my left frt pocket EVERYDAY since then. the great thing about the naa is it`s so small you forget it`s there. the holster keeps the gun right side up and from banging around in the pocket. be advised that you will have to clean the lint out of it every month or so. i have had to restich it 1 time , but still thats pretty good service. also note i carry nothing else in that pocket, and have never had any problems.
  7. hey thanks for the welcome. i look forward to learning here. regards dux
  8. hello to all, just found this forum on a search. i am an experienced holster maker, and a novice carver.. hope to possibly learn a few of the finer points on this board. here are 2 flap holsters i finished this week. regards dux
