Pearson no 6 bobbin fits but can't secure it in place ?

Hi anyone know if this is a Pearson no 6 bobbin winder it has 6MH.170 stamped on base but there doesn't seem to be any way to secure bobbin in place ? Any ideas possibly something missing ? Thanks Joe
