My grandfather, Sixten was a blacksmith back in the days. He would always surround himself with unique and quality products to ensure that he could rely on them for years to come. I can still remember working alongside him as a child and feeling amazed by how someone could make a finished product from a raw piece of material.

Sixten Leather Goods started for my love for handcrafted leather goods that will be able to stand the test of time. I want my leather products to be something that you can pass on to your children or grandchildren so that they may enjoy them as much as you did.

I enjoy being a one-man leather shop as it allows me to have full control of the creative process. It enables me to design the product, to source the best leather hides and the needed hardware to reach the desired product. I find working with leather to be a true joy since each item and hide will have slight inconsistencies, which makes each item unique and different from the many mass produced goods we can find everywhere.
