Hey guys, I'm sure I saw on etsy recently liquid that you can apply to the raw edge of leather to burnish it but different coloured stuff to give a different coloured edge. Am I imagining this? Would this work? If so what is this stuff called? Many thanks, Andrew

Ah cool. Do u know anywhere that does like gold and silver coloured leather u know with a shiny surface like they do at Cambridge satchel? Or can that company do that too?

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knows where or how I can source coloured leather strips, 30mm, 40mm wide etc for leather body harnesses in various colours. Dyeing raw leather just wouldn't give the same colour intensity I feel. Any ideas? Thanks, Andrew

Hey guys, I know this might be a bit far out for this forum but there's nothing inappropriate about my question. I want to get into making harnesses. There are some which have leather with the raw edge, others burnished. Others have stitching, where it looks like two layers are sewn together or even what looks like leather sewn over the raw edges to cover them up. I was just wondering if you guys could have a look and tell me how it's been done and if i can do it myself. Many thanks, Andrew
