About Me

I love leather, motorcycles and sewing!  And gardening, We all have to eat so we should know what were eating ;)

My latest project is restoring a sewing machine i just acquired from one of the members of our local Motorcycle chapter.  I have done a lot of sewing for them and he asked if I would be interested in an old singer of course I said yes! What kind, and how much?  
All he knew is that it was being used in an auto body shop, and being used for canvas, > me :specool: he would find out for me.

The guy was getting rid of it, and I could have it, all I had to do was be home, have someone to help him get it off the truck, and inside

and he would drop it off.   > me :You_Rock_Emoticon: Done!

It is a singer 31-15 and I fell in love, to me it is the beast I have been waiting for, A Tailors machine.  Perfect!

Well it was covered with auto grease, and gunk, mixed with dirt and dust, so I have lots of work to do  before I can actually use it, but I know it works, and I know I will clean it up Pics when I am done.
