Sheath for dagger
MaverickFZX750 replied to MaverickFZX750's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Thanks a lot. It's a really pleasure for me to read this words. Yeah, l love this natural light colour and as times goes by it will come darker like keyholder on the photo, that's beautiful I think. Actually, it's first time when I used the basketwave stamp such a non-classical way and I'm absolutely sure it can be better in some detailes)))) Oh! I didn't know and will remember. Thank you. -

Thank you mates! I'm not sure that is Sam Brown's buttons, but it's enough quality brass studs too. -
Hi all! Just completed new sheath for the dagger Kizlyar KO-1. Very nice dagger I should say, well balased and comfortable in hand. Aus-8, very sharp. Caucasian nutwood and leather on the handle. About materials, it's heavy veg tanned leather, natural colour, oil and RTC from Bee Natural Leather care on top finish. Thanks for watching comments are welcome.

Antique stain and Balm atom wax as finish. And I planing to use mixture bee wax with oil for conditioning, periodically.

Oh yeah! About australian style, three weeks ago i got my first Akubra. It's very comfortable, when i put it on my head I thought i was born in this hat. If you're ever going to Southport on Warehouse road, give my regards to Andrew and other people who work in there.

If you looking for buckles for 50 mm, look at this place http://www.leathercrafttools.com/hardware/buckles/double/list.jsp I think on your photo simple and practical buckle not so beautiful but can be. Nice croc leather like how it looks. I want to try to make some braided belt with two rings, I read that is true australian design.

Thanks for your opinions folks, it's a pleasure for me. Norton Custom Leather, I use some tools from Taiwan like Ivan and others like that cause it simple and cheap for beginners like me. I got some Barri King stamps for carving, are very beautiful at work. I dont't have any suppliers near me, only in Moscow. I can take some tools only by an order or make it myself ;). RockyAussie, There are no problems with the loops for 44 width even 50 mm. I think it depends on the model of jeans.

Hi everyone! I would like to show you the leather hat I've done in december last year. I love hats in general, got Jacaru and Hanschel in leather are very nice hats. So I wanted to make something in different style. When i saw steampunk hats I thought Hmm... it's interesting... i can make somthing like that. I liked two Marlow and Bromley and i took general design from Marlow and brass buckle from Bromley. About materials it's cow hide 5-6 oz combined tanning, solid brass buckle, twill lining. I made lining in it several times ago but didn't make a pic. I'll share a bit later.
