Then you will definitely appreciate this. I didn't even think about people who have had injuries or suffer from medical conditions such as arthritis when I developed it. Thank you for your interest!

I have changed the process in which I manufacture these. It has reduced the time to make these in order to offer them at a more reasonable price point. I measured the required pressure need to lift the presser foot on my machine before installing the lever and it required 30lds of pressure. After installation it only required 8lbs. So in my case a 75% reduction in needed pressure. If anyone is interested they can easily be purchased through my eBay listing. The presser foot on my sewing machine was extremely difficult to lift using the foot pedal. I would have to standup off my stool to push it down. I designed an attachment that mounts to the bottom of the table that gives the foot pedal a mechanical advantage over the presser foot springs. It attaches with only two screws to the bottom of the table where the chain comes through for the foot pedal. You do not have to cut the chain. After installing the pedal is as easy to push down as the sew pedal. It has made my sewing experience so much enjoyable. The assist lever is powder coated and comes with instructions, mounting template, all hardware, and free shipping in the US (lower 48 only) $30.00

Thank you

I got it all done. I ended up painting the frame because I didn't have that color powder. All the black pieces are powdered in flat black. I have a bunch of JET tools so my OCD said this has to match. Now I just need to get some dies to see how it works. Total cost was right at $430

I had a good e I had a good experience with them. Alexander over there was really helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. If things go as I hope I will be getting a splitter and strap cutting machine from them.

As requested by user UWE I will share my upgrades I did to my CB3200. I did not like the handle position from the factory. Also my foot pedal was so hard to push down I had to literally stand up off my stool to push it down. The extension piece for the handle is made from some stainless I turned down and then used the existing handle on the end. The handle does come down when the foot pedal is pressed but it is still light enough that it doesn't keep from returning up when you let of the pedal. You can also lock the foot up but pressing the pedal all the way down. This lets the handle fall all the way just like you pushed it to the lock position with your hand. I also orientated the handle so it faces you when the presser foot is down and it is also out of the way. To raise the foot I found it more convenient to pull the handle down rather than pushing the handle back through the machine. As for the foot pedal I had to come up with something. This system gives the pedal a mechanical advantage over the presser foot springs. With this set up the peddle is as easy to push down as the sew pedal. It also gives more range of motion. I hope with the pictures you can see what is going on. The parts for the pedal are little crude. I just haven't taken the time to make the permanent pieces. I absolutely love my machine and working with the dealer Solar Leather.

My handle comes back up when you lift off the foot pedal but that is also to do with a mechanism I came up with that gives a mechanical advantage over the spring that makes the foot pedal easer push down. Sorry I didnt mean to take your post in a different direction. Very nice machine work on your handle.
