  1. Thanks. That was an easy fix. Good thing I didn't start messing around with the screw in the front of the photo that rotates the whole hook.
  2. I spend most of the day cleaning a very dirty Adler 67 GK 373. Lots of lint and old dried oil, but it come out looking nice and I didn't find any worn parts. After putting everything back together there is a timing issue only on the beginning of back stitching. When the hook rotates contra clockwise the hook hits the feed dog. Forward stitching is fine. I've watched the video Uwe put on YouTube, and checked the hook timing that looks fine. Any ideas how to fix this? I asume this is not normal Thanks here are some photos of the hook hits the feed dog (before and after)
  3. I just purchased an Adler 67. It needs a good deep cleaning but it looks like it is in good shape. Not to mention the price was right. I was just curious if it is the same machine as the Paff 545 or other brands. Just in case I need a new part and I can't find it for the Adler thanks
  4. I end up getting a used post machine version of the SewPro that Uwe suggested from China. It is not made by SewPro but it is the same design. The post is a little thicker than the Seiko that's culdn't even found for sale. I hope it will last me for a couple years before getting something else.
  5. The front is split a little just but not all the way like the back. The problem is that I could not find a cylinder or post machine that will do zig zag. At least not under 5000. There is the singer 107w50 no walking foot and not sure how well it will sew suede leather. I have to get one from China and that has been a hassle
  6. I'm trying to figure out is a walking foot flat bed that is able to do zig zag will be able to saw something like in the photo. Or I will have to get a cylinder or post machine. I will have to sew around the toe similar to what a Strobel sewing machine does.
